Grenada, known as the "Spice Island," is filled with beautiful landscapes, rich culture, and stunning beaches. While many tourists flock to popular destinations, there are several hidden gems on island that offer a unique experience.

Here are some hidden spots:

The River Antoine Estate Rum Distillery

This historic distillery, dating back to the 18th century, produces traditional rum using methods that have remained unchanged for centuries. The use of a water wheel dates back to the days of the sugar plantation in the18th century and is truly an example of maintaining the heritage of making rum. The water wheel provides the power or force for crushing the stalks of sugarcane to extract the cane juice. It is certainly a marvel to see firsthand!
